Privacy & Boundaries

Being seen should never mean losing control of what is yours.

What We Do

  • You decide what is shared, with whom, and when. Sharing is always an intentional act.
  • Privacy by design: private by default, minimal data, quiet by nature.
  • Clear data controls built into every product — and kept improving.
  • We process your private content only to provide the experience you asked for.

What We Never Do

  • Sell your personal data.
  • Use your private content for third-party advertising.
  • Build commercial targeting profiles from your private expression.
  • Let what you meant to keep private become public without your intent.
  • Design addictive mechanics around vulnerable emotions.

SeenUnderstand

Seen is not a stage to be seen, but a space to be understood.

  • Understanding comes first. Connection is optional — and always mutual.
  • No personality types, no compatibility scores, no labels.
  • No public feed, no spectators, no performance.
  • Others see only the name you choose — never your words.
  • Low-stimulus by design: no red dots, no leaderboards, no streaks.
  • Depth before scale. Safety before activity.

Your data has an exit: you can export your data and close your account from inside the app.

Gift.SeenExpress

A Gift is a private delivery from one person to another — sealed on purpose, opened with intention.

  • You choose what to create, what to seal, and who to give it to. Nothing is shared unless you share it.
  • Opening a Gift requires no account — the link is enough; one guarded by a Heart Key also asks for the answer only the two of you share.
  • A Gift meant for private opening can be sealed with a Heart Key — we store only a protected form of the key, never the key itself.
  • Delivery is private, not public: no feed, no gallery, nowhere to browse.
  • A Gift belongs to whoever you hand it to — the link is the way in, so share it with care. Gifts quietly expire after one year.

Moment.SeenShare

Moment.Seen is built privacy-first: editing and export happen locally in your browser, and there is no cloud photo library. Only when you ask for AI suggestions, small low-resolution copies of your photos (plus your note) are sent for one-time analysis — used for that request only, never stored.
